Monarch Headlines Fall Music3

Artist: Rich The Kid

The World Is Yours 2 may not be the project everybody was hoping for but each song goes pretty hard and that’s all we can ask for from Rich. The man has been working hard to build his label with Famous Dex and Jay Critch each playing their roles inside of Rich Forever. RTK has given shine to both Dexter and Critch this year through their own album releases but it’s time for him to focus on his own music now as he’s revealed the release date for his next album. Rich has been teasing the project, saying he’s working on some of the best music of his life. He recently dropped “Mo Paper” with YG and we now know when we can expect the follow-up to The World Is Yours. Taking to his social media outlets, Rich announced that the sequel will be dropping on January 18. With many fans being made out of the first instalment, we’re excited to see how Rich can transition into the second version.

Artist: City Girls

City Girls have been on a heavy ARTIST: Method man grind this year, but, unfortunately, the Miami duo faced a minor setback this past summer. After releasing their mixtape PERIOD through Quality Control, JT turned herself to the police on fraud charges. However, that hasn’t stopped Yung Miami for holdin’ it down for the both of them. The duo recently revealed they will be releasing a new album in a little over two weeks. City Girls are currently prepping the release of their second project of the year. The duo announced their new project Girl Code on Instagram by sharing the cover art and release date for the project (this past November).

Artist: Ice Cube

Everythang’s Corrupt will mark Cube’s first album since 2010’s I Am The West. He intended to release the project years ago but was too buried in his work as an actor and a co-owner of BIG 3 basketball league. On this new project, Cube returns to his political pulpit bashing the government, big pharma, police and other industries that practice saying one thing and doing another.

Artist: J Cole

J. Cole fans have a lot to be happy about right now. Just hours after the Dreamville leader warned us that he was hungry for beats, Jermaine decided to come out of nowhere today and surprise us with a new freestyle over Nas’ “Oochie Wally” called “Album of the Year.” The song, which was accompanied with a new video, opened up with a message that read: “What you are about to witness is a master class on preparation. The Off Season,” and it turns out that happens to be the title to his next project!

methodman-tease_kfh2muTHE METH LAB II: THE LITHIUM

Artist: Method Man

Meth’s sixth studio album will include twenty-two tracks and will feature guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Redman, Sheek Louch and more, as well as fellow Wu-Tang members Raekwon, Cappadonna and Masta Killa. Curated by Hanz On, the album will look to bring up-and-coming rappers together with more established artists. With a career that dates back to the early 1990s, Method Man hasn’t lost a step in his rapping and proved that earlier this year when he stopped by DJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle and spit a freestyle.
