Gabrielle burst onto the British music scene in the early nineties with her soon to be trademark hit, “Dreams,” her infectious pop/ R&B/dance mix also made a splash onto several international charts.

The BRIT Award winning singer/songwriter’s appealing vocal approach reflects experiences of love and life to the fullest, with “Give Me a Little More Time,” “Walk on By” and “Out of Reach” from Bridget Jones’ Diary.

A sneak preview of her first CD in 11 years, Gabrielle locks into her sweet pop/R&B hybrid on the current single, “Show Me”.  This track speaks to finding love in its proper perspective, decorated by a mid-tempo, breezy soulful soundtrack: “It’s so crazy/How much you know me/Yes, it comes down to trust.”

In November, Frank Ocean, mysterious as ever, posted on his Tumblr: “WELL I MADE THE ALBUM BEFORE 30. I JUST AINT PUT THAT BITCH OUT!” Who knows what that could mean coming from an artist as unpredictable as him. But then he doubled down on that statement in the new year, sharing a cryptic new image on his Tumblr  that shows someone wearing a hat that reads “IF YOU LIKED 2017, YOU’LL LOVE 2018.” The caption says, “new 18-99.”

Rostam Batmanglij departed the band in 2016, while frontman Ezra Koenig has been lending his writing talents to the likes of Kanye West. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly , however, Koenig provided an update about the new album and assured fans songs are definitely in the works.
