Artist/activist Shungudzo recently released “It’s a good day (to fight the system)” and will be releasing more music in 2021. With ear gems that resonate with the mind, body and soul, Shungudzo brings listeners a collection of music that examines life and all its nuances. The Zimbabwean-American singer has already made an impact on music lovers with almost a million monthly listeners on Spotify, with her music being found on popular playlists such as Spotify’s Mint, Spotify's Alternative R&B, Apple’s Wax Eclectic, Tidal’s Rising and more. In addition to her own poetry and songwriting, Shungudzo has written for Little Mix, Chiiild, and Jessie Ware among others. She is also a talented dancer and gymnast, and was the first female artistic gymnast of color to compete on the Zimbabwean National Team. Before pursuing music full time, she ran a media company and attended Stanford University. She now lives in Los Angeles
